Welcoming traditional Welsh pub in stunning forest location perfect for walking and cycling

The Castle Inn has always been part of the village community. The opening of the Cwmcarn Forest Drive has made it the perfect stopping off point for visitors to the area - particularly those interested in exploring the mountain bike and walking trails. On the flat the canal offers extensive opportunities for walkers and joggers alike.

The accommodation at The Castle Inn has been completely renovated. It comprises two rooms with four single beds in each room. There is a spacious bathroom with a luxury corner bath, shower enclosure and vanity unit on the same floor. In addition guests have a fully equipped kitchen come diner which boasts a brand new oven and hob as well as microwave and fridge.
Continental breakfast is provided and guests may help themselves to tea and coffee as required.

Sunday lunch is a tradition at The Castle Inn with a choice of three meats roasted and served with fresh vegetables and trimmings. Hot and cold desserts are prepared according to the season. Nut roast available for Vegetarian sunday lunch.
Bar snacks are available Wednesday to Saturday and reservations are advisable.
