Ecology Cymru
Fantatsic walks both locally and regionally.
Guided walks for individuals or groups (adults and schools) to numerous locations both local and throughout Wales.

A member of Caerphilly Tourism Association - working together to promote tourism
Walks are catered to individual/group needs, and are set at a steady pace with plenty of stops to look at birds, wildlife, plants, fungi and local history. All walks have excellent praise and my enthusiasm and good humour shines through.
Power point talks on birds, wildlife and plants are offered to groups/schools based on my own material and travels through the UK and abroad, with excellent picture of my travels and what I have seen.

Bird identification courses include one and two day courses looking at bird identification (sight and sound) and how to spot them in the wild. We will also look at stealth (approaching species without scaring them), and looking for bird signs (nest holes in trees, feathers, pellets, droppings, feather remains etc). The course comprises workshop activities and going out into the countryside to put what has been learned into practice. Artefacts such as feathers, skulls and feet are brought along too.

School visits are conducted bringing in a variety of natural history objects, from shells to skulls for the children to see and hold.
Ecological surveys also conducted for private individuals and consultancy firms covering birds, plants, hedgerows, butterflies, reptiles and badgers.
I have both Public liability and professional endemnity insurance, and a current CRB check can be made available for school records.
Lets Walk Cymru, Ambassador training (ongoing), Diploma in Ornithology (distinction), FAETC (further adult education teaching certificate), health and safety, risk assessments and first aid qualified.
