The County Borough of Caerphilly is rich in history and heritage with many stories, myths and legends told throughout the borough. Learn about some of the borough's history and the wonderful culture of the valleys. Enjoy a visit to a Male Voice Choir rehearsal or visit Tommy Cooper's statue in Caerphilly. There are many local food producers who attend the monthly Caerphilly Farmers' Market, along with local chocolate makers and farm that makes its very own cider. There's lots to see and even more to learn...

Aber Valley Male Voice Choir

Rehearsals: Wednesday 7.15pm - 9.30pm, Sunday 11am - 1pm at Aber & Senghenydd Ex Servicemen's Club.

See us perform at The Big Cheese 2012 on the 28th of July in the Great Hall.

Founded in 1959, the Choir whom presently holds 59 Choirists, has performed over 1000 times with it's 1000th performance being recorded live in 2006 at St.Helen's Church in Caerphilly.

The Choir is renowned for welcoming, entertaining and hosting concerts for music groups from all over the World.

Aberbargoed Ladies Choir

Rehearsals take place every week Monday 7pm at st Peter's Hall, Aberbargoed.

Argoed Male Voice Choir

Rehearsals: Tuesday and Friday 7pm - 9pm at Gilfach Welsh Junior School.

Caerphilly Ladies Choir

Rehearsals: Tuesday 7.15pm - 9.15pm at Twyn Junior School, lower hall (school term time only).

Caerphilly Male Voice Choir

Rehearsals: Tuesday 7.15pm - 9.15pm at Greenfly Club, Bedwas, CF83 8BJ

Thursday 7.15pm - 9.15pm at Bedwas Methodist Church, Church Stret, Bedwas, CF83 8EA.

Hallets Real Cider at Blaengawney Farm

Annie and Andy Hallett live on a small farm of 25 acres in Hafodyrynys in the Borough of Caerphilly. Andy has always enjoyed a good pint of cider and so in 2005 he decided to have a go at making some for his own consumption. This was very successful as he certainly enjoyed it!

Hapus Real Dairy Ice Cream & Parlour

Hapus Real Diary Ice Cream Parlour is situated in a beautiful location with stunning views. The visitor centre is cosy and family friendly with a large 'parlour' selling homemade ice cream, sundaes, teas and coffees. There's a children's play area, sculpture walk and seasonal activities.

Groeswen Chapel

Groeswen Chapel is set on the slopes of Mynydd Meio, overlooking Caerphilly. The Chapel is a grade 2* listed building of National interest, with a graveyard, which contains the remains of Wales most notable preachers, musicians and literary figures, earning the Chapel the title of 'Westminster Abbey of Wales'.
