Children and the young at heart will be descending on the town centre to meet up with some of TV’s most popular characters. From Peppa Pig, George, Fireman Sam, Hello Kitty, Moshi Monster and Spongebob on the Saturday to Buzz & Woody, Mike the Knight, Everything Rosie, Moshi Monster and Mickey on the Sunday.

This year's festival will have a beach theme. The urban beach will returb to let you play in the sand and build a sand castle fit for a King. There will also be Hoola Hooping, Limbo, Mermaid and Bather Stiltwalkers.

Thrown into the mix will be some high quality children’s funfair rides, music, street
entertainment, food and craft stalls as well as Punch and Judy, children’s workshops
and face painting.
