Why not join us every Wednesday afternoon during the school holidays for FREE Summer Fun for children, young people and families – with crafts, games and hands-on activities. (21st July to 25th August , 2pm - 4pm).
No need to book - just drop in and join the fun!

There’s also a terrific opportunity for children aged 9 -14 years to take over part of the museum’s West Gallery in our exciting new week of activities,
My Museum!

Discover all about how museums look after their collections. Pick which objects go on display for all our visitors to see – and decide how to display them!
It all takes place between Monday 16th & Friday 20th August and will include a trip to Cardiff (a small charge may apply) and a public launch of your completed display!

And last but not least, we’ll be celebrating the August Bank holiday with a trip back in time, reliving holidays from the past.
Join us for Buckets of Fun on Monday 30th August, between 10am and 5pm. Admission is FREE! The historic winding engine will also run at 12pm and 3pm.
