Mae trefnwyr ras 10 Cilomedr Caerffili<\/strong><\/a> wedi cadarnhau y bydd llwybr ras newydd yn cael ei gyflwyno ar gyfer digwyddiad 2026, gan sicrhau gostyngiad o 14.29% o ran uchder yn dilyn adborth gan redwyr sy’n chwilio am lwybr mwy gwastad a chyson.<\/p>\n

Dangosodd adborth gan redwyr awydd clir am gwrs mwy gwastad, llai bryniog, gan ysgogi ailgynllunio’r llwybr ar gyfer 2026.<\/p>\n

Bydd y ras yn cychwyn ac yn gorffen yn Crescent Road o hyd, gan osod y digwyddiad yng nghanol tref Caerffili a sicrhau bod awyrgylch diwrnod y ras yn parhau i fod yn rhan ganolog o brofiad ras 10 Cilomedr Caerffili.<\/p>\n

O’r man cychwyn yn Crescent Road, bydd y rhedwyr yn mynd ar hyd Heol Pontygwindy tuag at Gylchfan Pwll-y-pant, cyn parhau ar hyd yr A468 y tu \u00f4l i Barc Lansbury. Yna, mae’r llwybr yn mynd ar hyd Van Road, cyn dychwelyd trwy ganol y dref ac yn \u00f4l i Crescent Road ar gyfer y llinell derfyn.<\/p>\n

Mae’r llwybr sydd wedi’i ailgynllunio yn cadw cymeriad Caerffili wrth wella llif a hygyrchedd, gan greu llwybr sy’n cefnogi rhedwyr o bob gallu \u2013 o’r rhai sy’n cwblhau eu ras 10 cilomedr gyntaf i athletwyr profiadol sydd am guro amserau gorau personol a recordiau clybiau.<\/p>\n

Mae llwybr diwygiedig hefyd wedi’i gynllunio ar gyfer ras 2 Gilomedr Caerffili, sy’n cyd-fynd \u00e2 chynllun newydd y ras 10 Cilomedr ac yn gwella’r profiad cyffredinol ar ddiwrnod y ras i redwyr ifanc a theuluoedd. Bydd rhagor o fanylion yn cael eu rhannu trwy ein sianeli cyfryngau cymdeithasol.<\/p>\n

Meddai Chris Morgan:<\/p>\n

\u201cMae ras 10 Cilomedr Caerffili yn ddigwyddiad blaenllaw i’r Fwrdeistref Sirol ac yn dathlu cyfranogiad cymunedol mewn gweithgarwch corfforol. Mae gwrando ar adborth rhedwyr wedi bod yn ganolog i’r penderfyniad i gyflwyno’r llwybr newydd hwn. Trwy leihau\u2019r uchder a gwella cysondeb, rydyn ni’n creu llwybr sy’n fwy cynhwysol ac yn fwy cefnogol i nodau personol, dim ots a yw hynny’n golygu cwblhau ras 10 cilomedr am y tro cyntaf neu fynd ar drywydd amser gorau personol newydd.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mae diweddaru’r llwybr hefyd yn cyd-fynd \u00e2 Strategaeth Chwaraeon a Hamdden Egn\u00efol y Cyngor, sy’n canolbwyntio ar leihau rhwystrau i gymryd rhan, annog gweithgarwch gydol oes a chreu cyfleoedd croesawgar i bobl fod yn egn\u00efol yn eu cymunedau lleol.<\/p>\n

Mae ras 10 Cilomedr Caerffili eisoes wedi profi perfformiadau cryf yn ystod y blynyddoedd diwethaf, gyda record y cwrs i\u2019r dynion wedi’i osod gan Dewi Griffiths, a orffennodd mewn 29 munud a 12 eiliad yn 2024. Mae record y cwrs i fenywod yn cael ei ddal gan Olivia Tsim, gydag amser o 34 munud a 58 eiliad. Mae’r perfformiadau hyn yn parhau i fod yn feincnodau rhagorol, ac mae llwybr 2026 wedi’i gynllunio i greu amodau cryf i redwyr sy’n anelu at herio eu hamserau gorau personol eu hunain.<\/p>\n
