Spring has well and truly sprung in Caerphilly County Borough, and we’re keeping things going strong with the Bargoed May Fair on Saturday 3rd May!
With a range of stalls populated with incredible small businesses, exciting entertainment and fantastic funfair rides, the Bargoed May Fair promises to give Bargoed a big bloomin’ boost!
So come along for a day of fun-filled festivities and an opportunity to support the town, the high street and local businesses!

The town centre has a lovely selection of independent stores and offers a variety of eating out venues throughout the town so #ChooseLocal and support your local town centre!
This event is part-funded by Bargoed Town Council and organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
‼️ Important travel information: please note that due to ongoing works on the Upper Rhymney Line, rail replacement services will be in place between Rhymney and Caerphilly on Saturday 3rd May, which may affect your journey to and from the event. Rail services south of Caerphilly (e.g. to and from Cardiff) will not be impacted. Buses will run every 15 minutes from Caerphilly, and every 30 minutes from Rhymney.
Please be aware of any changes to public transport timetables and allow for extra time when making your journey or arrange alternative travel if necessary. We advise that you check before you travel at journeycheck.com.

Over 50 food, drink and craft traders with delicious cakes, breads, sweets, fudge, pastries, sauces, chutneys, hand-crafted items and much more. Enjoy sampling a tipple or two from the spirits, beer, and cider sellers!
