Morbitorium – Taxidermy classes

Have you ever fancied trying taxidermy? 

Why not come along to one of our one-day taxidermy courses? You’ll learn all the skills required to start doing your own projects and no former experience is required.

Taxidermy is a fascinating and rewarding hobby that allows you to express your creative side whilst keeping traditional crafts alive. We’ll take you through the entire process, from the first cut to the final stitch. Everything is 100% hands on but I’ll be there to help out if you find anything too tricky.

The Morbitorium has been running classes since 2014 and has taught hundreds of budding taxidermists from all over the country. The classes are informal and fun, and whether you’re coming alone or with a friend, you’re sure to meet other like minded people and have a great time whilst learning a new hobby.

Classes are held in our museum workshop surrounded by items from our cabinet of curiosities display.
