Operation Santa aims to provide presents to those nominated by their social workers.<\/p>\n<p>We are asking residents to pledge cash via our fundraising page to ensure local children will receive gifts in time for the big day.<\/p>\n<p>The pledge line provides a quick and easy way for generous groups and individuals to pledge cash for a child this Christmas. All you need to do is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iweb.itouchvision.com\/portal\/itouchvision\/r\/customer\/category_link?cuid=CEBCA8172D2053527082E6057531401A8C0A2B94&amp;lang=EN&amp;P_LANG=en\">visit our donation page.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you want to purchase a gift voucher, please do not wrap the voucher, place it into an envelope and ensure it is clearly marked with the information below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Title the envelope as \u2018Operation Santa\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Value of voucher\/gift card<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please limit the value of each individual voucher\/gift card to \u00a310. The unwrapped gift cards need to be taken to a collection centre by Friday 29<sup>th<\/sup> November. The collection centres are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bargoed Library (CF81 8QR)<\/li>\n<li>Blackwood Library (NP12 1AJ)<\/li>\n<li>Caerphilly Library (CF83 1JL)<\/li>\n<li>Newbridge Library (NP11 4FH)<\/li>\n<li>Rhymney Library (NP22 5NU)<\/li>\n<li>Risca Library (NP11 6BW)<\/li>\n<li>Ystrad Mynach Library (CF82 7BB)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alternatively, you can make a pledge by calling 01443 866577 or emailing <a href=\"mailto:operationsanta@caerphilly.gov.uk\">operationsanta@caerphilly.gov.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cllr Elaine Forehead, Cabinet Member for Social Care, commented \u201cOperation Santa brings joy and Christmas spirit to children who wouldn\u2019t receive a present at home. It is such a worthy cause and can only be achieved through the generous donations from businesses and residents of the borough.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of Caerphilly County Borough Council, I would like to thank all of those who continue to support Operation Santa, either in previous years or this year.
