A selection of Caerphilly Tourism Association members are continuing to offer \u2018Eat Out to Help Out\u2019 deals following on from the success of the Government funded scheme throughout August.<\/h3>\n

The scheme which ended on 31st August, offered members of the public 50% off their food bill up to \u00a310pp. \u2018Eat Out to Help Out\u2019 was a huge success throughout the whole of the UK encouraging visitors back into our hospitality and tourism outlets; with the Government reimbursing the loss of revenue. Indoor seating areas at supporting venues were mainly full to permitted capacity from Monday to Wednesday throughout August, with diners being turned away.<\/p>\n

Alex Jones, Managing Director of C37 Coffee Shop in Ystrad Mynach said \u201cAs the eat out scheme was a huge success, we thought we would extend it and offer as much as we could to keep the customers coming\u201d<\/p>\n

Ryan and Emma owners of Bistro 8 restaurant in Blackwood said “We are extending the Eat Out to Help Offer as we were fully booked throughout August within the first few days, and many customers missed out. We have been truly humbled by all the support from customers thus far, so we are doing this out of our pocket, as we look forward to welcoming many more customers through our doors in September.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the autumn months upon us and the light nights becoming a distant memory, the thought of staying in and snuggling up in the warm is very tempting. Well, hold that thought! A number of restaurants, pubs and cafes in Caerphilly County Borough have created new special offers throughout September to encourage people to eat out and support local hospitality businesses. With the correct health and safety measures in place including strict social distancing, venues are keen to welcome visitors safely.<\/p>\n

With a recent local lockdown introduced in the county borough (from 8th September 2020), please follow Welsh Government guidelines when choosing to eat out.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes are operating but you can only eat and drink indoors with people you live with. It is a criminal offence to deliberately meet someone from outside your household in any of these settings (indoors). There are strict rules about how hospitality settings such as this area are allowed to operate. However, is these rules aren\u2019t followed or if people continue to meet others form outside their households they may have to close.<\/span><\/h4>\n
