The exhibitions always follow the same plan, a charity is chosen, a theme is worked out and then we sew like mad. In 2019 our charity is Air Ambulance Wales. Obviously we can’t have one of the real helicopters on show, but AAW hope to bring a mock-up as there’s lots of space in the Manor grounds. The exhibition will run from Thursday 23rd May to Sunday 26th from 10:00 until 4:00.
In order to maximise the money raised for the charity as well as a raffle and Sales Stall, there will be 2 Tombola tables, one of fabric and another for the non-sewing visitors. The location gives us lots of space so members will also run demonstrations/workshops to add to the enjoyment of the day.
