Music, food and fun – what more could you want to welcome in the Spring?

Come along to Ystrad Mynach town centre on Saturday 28th March for a good ol’ springtime celebration!

This event is completely FREE to attend!

This event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council and supported by Gelligaer Community Council.


Parking and Travel

Parking

Public parking, including disabled bays, will be available at:

  • The Lewis School, CF82 7WW (free)
  • Oakfield Street Car Park, CF82 7WX (pay-and-display)
  • Tesco, CF82 7DP (free for 2 hours, limited to Tesco customers only)
  • Lidl, CF82 8AA (free for 1.5 hours, limited to Lidl customers only)

Please ensure you check signage at each car park for full terms and conditions.

Train Services

Ystrad Mynach Train Station is a short walk from the event site and services passengers travelling to and from the following locations:

• Bargoed (approx. every 10-20 mins)
• Barry Island (approx. every 10-30 mins)
• Cardiff (approx. every 10-20 mins)
• Rhymney (approx. every 30-40 mins)

Bus Services

Stall List

30 trade stalls selling delicious food and drink! Enjoy delicious cakes, jams and chutneys and sample a tipple or two from the spirits and cider sellers! There will also be hot street food, from Spanish paella and tapas, Chinese dishes, loaded mac and cheese and polish 2ft smoked kielbasa sausages!

The Sensory Sanctuary

We know that crowds and lots of noise can be overwhelming for some people, so our Sensory Sanctuary will be available at our town centre events for those with autism and other neurodivergence needs, or anyone who needs to take a break.

At Ystrad Mynach Food, Drink & Music Festival, you’ll find the quiet space at Ystrad Mynach Library, CF81 8QR, between 9:30am and 1pm.
