Set in the heart of Blackwood, The Halfway House has been serving the local community for generations. It’s the kind of place where locals know each other by name, where the fire’s always going in winter, and where a quick pint somehow turns into a long evening.
Whether you’re in for a quick pint after work or settling in for a long Sunday roast with the family, you’ll always find something worth staying for.
After years of being a well-loved local, the pub has had a new lease of life under fresh ownership – keeping everything that made it special while raising the bar on food, drink, and the overall experience.
Accommodation
The Halfway House also has rooms available for visitors looking for an overnight or longer stay in Caerphilly County Borough.
The venue has 3 double bedrooms suitable for up to 2 people each, with access to the pub, restaurant and garden downstairs.
