Van Road Trails is a free-to-use, not-for-profit community ‘dirt jump’ bike facility, located on Van Road, Caerphilly, at Coed Parc-Y-Van with access via the car park. Van Road Trails’ ethos is to have somewhere free to ride for all, regardless of age, sex or ability, serving the Caerphilly Basin as well as the wider biking community. The focus is on fun, fitness and improving riding skills.
Van Road Trails hosts weekly club nights through the summer plus an annual Dual Slalom competition in the autumn, with hope to expand on this to host an 2nd event in the future.
As a volunteer-run site, Van Road Trails relies on revenue generated from club members and events but also seek local sponsors who wish to support a local community facility of this nature.
