Thousands of visitors and residents alike are expected to visit the Risca Music Festival, as Risca Park is transformed into a family fun day on Saturday 15th June from 10am – 4pm.

Jam-packed with an abundance of entertainment for both parents and children to enjoy!

Funfair rides, entertainers, food and craft stalls will all form part of this great day out. Whatever you decide to do, you can rest assured that there is something for all the family to enjoy.

Come to Risca Music Festival to be entertained by the UK’s #1 Stereophonics Tribute band!

In 1999 Stereosonics began as a covers band playing a varied repertoire of current and classic anthems. Their set included several Stereophonics tracks and it soon became apparent that Shane had the same vocal range and a similar voice to Kelly Jones. So in the summer of 2000 they decided to venture into the world of tribute bands and Stereosonics were born under the original first name of Replicaphonics!

The band mastered the large catalogue of Stereophonics songs and began to perform live on a regular basis, even playing a fantastic gig at the Working Man’s Club in Cwmaman, Wales; where the Stereophonics played their first ever live show, due to it being Kelly, Richard and Stuart’s home town! The band had the great pleasure of being joined onstage by Stuart Cable Stereophonics former drummer – which is a personal highlight for all band members.{:}{:cy}

Ym 1999, dechreuodd y Stereosonics fel band dynwared a oedd yn chwarae repertoire amrywiol o anthemau cyfredol a’r clasuron. Roedd eu set yn cynnwys nifer o draciau’r Stereophonics, a daeth yn amlwg yn fuan fod gan Shane yr un cwmpas lleisiol â Kelly Jones, a llais tebyg iddo. Felly, yn ystod haf 2000, fe benderfynon nhw fentro i fyd bandiau teyrnged, a chafodd y Stereosonics eu geni o dan yr enw cyntaf gwreiddiol, Replicaphonics!

Fe wnaeth y band feistroli’r catalog mawr o ganeuon y Stereophonics a dechrau perfformio’n fyw yn rheolaidd – hyd yn oed gynnal gig bendigedig yng Nghlwb y Gweithwyr, Cwmaman, sef y lle y cynhaliodd y Stereophonics eu sioe fyw gyntaf erioed oherwydd dyna dref enedigol Kelly, Richard a Stuart! Roedd yn bleser mawr i’r band gael cyn-ddrymiwr y Stereophonics, Stuart Cable, ar y llwyfan – sy’n uchafbwynt personol i holl aelodau’r band.{:}
