The Summit Centre Cafe is the perfect rest stop for all, serving hearty food in a comfy, relaxed atmosphere with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and adjoining indoor climbing wall.

Whether you are a climber needing to refuel, a dog walker, cyclist, local to Taff Bargoed park or a family visiting the activity centre for the day, it’s definitely worth a visit to our cafe. We are a family and dog friendly cafe and muddy boots are most welcome.
Outdoor Play Area…
For the younger children we now have an outdoor play area just for them! As the site used to be an old coal mine, our outdoor play area is mining themed. With a mining dressing up box, slides, pulleys, buckets and cargo nets there is plenty to keep them entertained. And the best bit, the play area is in the cafe garden so you can keep an eye on the kids whilst enjoying a coffee and a cake!

- Friday and Saturday: 10:00-17:00
