The Secrets of the Scrivener at Llancaiach Fawr Manor

Reading and writing is something we all take for granted now but not in the 16th and 17th centuries. Very few people could do either. The Scrivener will demonstrate not only the making of ink from oak galls but will then let you have a go at writing with hand cut quills.

Normal entry fees apply. Booking can be arranged at reception upon arrival.
