Events are invaluable to our community in order to drive footfall into town centres and support local businesses.
This year’s lineup will see the return of numerous popular events starting next spring.

The Bargoed May Fair is BACK for 2025!
With a range of stalls populated with incredible small businesses, exciting entertainment and fantastic funfair rides, the Bargoed May Fair promises to give Bargoed a big bloomin’ boost!

With 2,500 runners of all abilities expected to descend on Caerphilly from across the country to enjoy the event, we are looking to the 2025 event to be bigger and better than ever!

This two-day event will be host to a giant beach laden with deckchairs and beach toys to keep everyone amused! Regular Punch and Judy shows will take place throughout the day and there will be a selection of juvenile funfair rides, along with a variety of attractions to keep everyone entertained!

On Saturday 28th June, Blackwood High Street will be transformed into an urban beach party with plentiful sand, deckchairs and buckets and spades to keep the whole family entertained.
A number of funfair rides will bring life to the one end of the high street with stalls, attractions and a giant beach taking over the other end!

Pride Caerffili is set to be day-long celebration taking place from 12pm-7pm on Saturday 5th July 2025.
Visitors can expect a family-friendly event, recognising and celebrating the contributions made by LGBTQ+ people in our society. On the day, there will be live entertainment and an iconic Pride Parade to celebrate.

Bargoed town centre will once again become Caerphilly County Borough’s hottest music venue this July with the Bargoed Summer Music Festival!
The event will consist of a main music stage on Lowry Plaza and four busking areas throughout the town centre; linking in with The Square Royale, Murray’s and Bourton’s Live Music Café Bar to bring the whole town centre to life!
