Bargoed Winter Food & Craft Fair 2024

Bargoed will be brought to life on Saturday 7th December as it hosts its annual festive fair.

Festive stalls, entertainment and funfair rides will bring that added Christmas sparkle to the town, offering a real treat for local residents.

Bargoed Town Council will be supporting the event with an appearance from Father Christmas and some fun Christmas entertainment.

Bargoed Town centre also offers a fabulous range of independent shops and high street brands giving you an opportunity to really get your Christmas shopping underway. Experience a little town with a lot to offer!

The Bargoed Winter Food and Craft Fair is completely FREE!

Parking and Transport

PARKING

Free public parking is available at the following car parks:

– Hanbury Road Car Park, CF81 8QR (access via Angel Way) (free, maximum stay 2 hours)
– Bargoed Gateway Car Park, CF81 8RE (access via Angel Way) (free, maximum stay 2 hours)
– Morrisons, CF81 8NX (Access via Angel Way) (free, maximum stay 3 hours)
– Bargoed Park and Ride, CF81 8QZ (free, maximum stay 2 hours)
– Bristol Terrace, CF81 8RF (free, maximum stay 2 hours)

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Bargoed Train Station and Bargoed Bus Station are located close to the High Street end of the event site.

– Bargoed Train Station is located on the Rhymney line, and trains run every 15 minutes towards and from Cardiff, and hourly from and towards Rhymney.
– Bargoed Bus Interchange is serviced by buses travelling towards and from: Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly, Blackwood, Pontypridd and Newport.

BIKE RACKS

Bike racks can be found in the following areas of Bargoed town centre:

– Adjacent to Bargoed Bus Station, CF81 8QZ
– Outside Iceland and JobCentrePlus, Lowry Plaza, CF81 8NX.
