Congratulations to Upmarket Family Butchers Surf & Turf who are crowned the winners of this year’s Caerphilly Christmas Window Dressing Competition!
The judges were impressed with the fishmonger’s festive window displays that creatively incorporated their business into the design, as shown by the Christmas tree adorned with oysters.
Located in the town’s new container market, Ffos Caerffili, Upmarket Family Butchers Surf & Turf has not one, but two units that sell a wide range of raw and fresh cooked fish and shellfish including Monkfish, Hake, Halibut, Cod, Scallops, Lobster, cockles, and giant prawns. Complimenting their other premises, Upmarket Family Butchers at 41 Bartlett Street, Surf & Turf also have a meat counter featuring a select cut of meats and flavoursome marinated skewers as well as a range of sauces, marinades, preserves, and pickles from local producers.
Upmarket Family Butchers has been operating in Caerphilly town centre for over twenty years and when the former indoor market closed, business owners Paul Livermore and his wife Catherine successfully relocated their business to 41 Bartlett Street before grabbing the opportunity to expand their food offering at Ffos Caerffili.
