Bargoed will be brought to life on Saturday 6th December as it hosts its annual festive fair.
Festive stalls, entertainment and funfair rides will bring that added Christmas sparkle to the town, offering a real treat for local residents.
Bargoed town centre also offers a fabulous range of independent shops and high street brands giving you an opportunity to really get your Christmas shopping underway. Experience a little town with a lot to offer!
The Bargoed Christmas Market is completely FREE to attend!

Car Parking
FREE public parking is available at the following car parks:
- Hanbury Road Car Park, CF81 8QR (access via Angel Way)
- Bargoed Gateway Car Park, CF81 8RE (access via Angel Way)
- Morrisons, CF81 8NX (Access via Angel Way) (maximum stay 3 hours)
- Bargoed Park and Ride, CF81 8QZ
- Bristol Terrace, CF81 8RF

Public Transport

Bargoed Train Station and Bargoed Bus Station are located a short walk from the High Street end of the event site.
Bargoed Train Station provides direct services to the following locations:
- Barry Island (approx. every 10-30 mins)
- Cardiff (approx. every 10-30 mins)
- Rhymey (approx. every 20-40 mins)
Bargoed Bus Interchange is serviced by buses travelling towards and from: Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly, Blackwood, Pontypridd and Newport.

Bike Racks
Bike racks can be found in the following areas of Bargoed town centre:
- Adjacent to Bargoed Bus Station, CF81 8QZ
- Outside Iceland and JobCentrePlus, Lowry Plaza, CF81 8NX
- Bargoed Gateway Car Park, CF81 8RE
Music and Light Parade

The Music and Light Parade will start at 6pm in the Emporium car park, making its way up Bargoed High Street before ending at Hanbury Square.
