Caerphilly County Borough Council and Blackwood Town Council are pleased to announce that Blackwood Beach Party is coming to town! On Saturday 18th July, Blackwood High Street, NP12 1AH, will be transformed into an urban beach party with plentiful sand, deckchairs and buckets and spades to keep the whole family entertained. A number of funfair rides will bring life to the one end of the high street with stalls, attractions and a giant beach taking over the other end!

Blackwood Town Centre will be a hive of activity, boosting footfall to the local retailers and hospitality venues so please get the date in the diary!

This event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council and funded by Blackwood Town Council and Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Pay-and-display public parking, including disabled bays, is available at the following locations:

High Street Car Park, NP12 1AH
Thorncombe Road 2, NP12 1AW
Thorncome Road 3, NP12 1AL
Blackwood Shopping Centre, NP12 1DG
Woodbine Road, NP12 1AE
Wesley Road, NP12 1PP

❗️ Free parking is available at Blackwood Retail Park, NP12 0NT, however this car park is designated for customers of the retail park and has a maximum stay of 2 hours.

Public Transport

Blackwood Bus Station is serviced by buses travelling towards and from: Abertillery, Bargoed, Cardiff, Cwmbran, Newport, Pontypridd, Tredegar, Ystrad Mynach and others.
