It’s a summertime smash! This year, the Risca Beach Party and Risca Food FEASTival come together for one big summer event, with food and fun galore!
Risca town centre’s Tredegar Park will be home to a giant beach area along with plenty of food and drink for a whole weekend of family fun in the sun!
This event is organised and funded by Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Parking
Free public parking is available at the following nearby car parks:
- Tredegar Terrace car park, NP11 6BY
- Commercial Street car park, NP11 6EE
- Risca & Pontymister Rail Station Park & Ride, NP11 6BD
- Longbridge car park, NP11 6BU
- Tesco Extra car park (limited time and allocated to customers only), NP11 6NP

Public Transport
Train Services
Risca & Pontymister Train Station is a short walk from the event site at Tredegar Park, NP11 6BW and services passengers travelling to and from the following locations:
- Cardiff (approx. every 20-40 mins)
- Ebbw Vale (approx. every 30 mins)
- Newport (approx. every 60 mins)
Bus Services
Risca’s Moriah Baptist Church and Spar bus stops are located directly outside the event site
at Tredegar Park.
- X15 (Stagecoach): Brynmawr – Newport via Newbridge and Abertillery
- 56 (Stagecoach): Tredegar – Blackwood – Newport
- 151 (Stagecoach): Blackwood – Newport via Newbridge and Risca
- R1 (Newport Bus): Newport – Ty Sign – Risca
- R2 (Newport Bus): Rogerstone (Morrisons) – Fernlea – Risca

Risca Beach Trail
Ahoy there, matey! 10 pirate bears have mutinied and are hiding in shops along Risca high street. Can you find them all to spell the secret word?
Collect your free map from Risca Library between Saturday 23rd May and Saturday 13th June or at the entrance gazebo at Risca Beach FEASTival on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June.
Return your completed form to collect your treasure and be in with a chance of winning a bear! There are 10 swashbuckling prizes to be won!

The Sensory Sanctuary

We know that crowds and lots of noise can be overwhelming for some people, so our Sensory Sanctuary will be available at our town centre events for those with autism and other neurodivergence needs, or anyone who needs to take a break.
At Risca Beach FEASTival, you’ll find a quiet space at Risca Library, NP11 6BW, between 9:30am and 4pm on Saturday 6th June.
