The Lord Nelson Inn is one of the oldest buildings in Nelson. Tastefully decorated and offering lots of nooks and crannies and log fires, the pub & restaurant entices people to come in just for a chat, a drink and or dining.
The Lord Nelson is well positioned for visiting local attractions such as Caerphilly Castle, Bike Park Wales, Rock UK Summit Centre and the Brecon Beacons. Being an independent business is very important to The Lord Nelson, with staff working together as one big happy family. As well as having a great reputation with the local community, visitors regularly travel from distances that you wouldn’t imagine to dine and drink at the pub.

Grills are The Lord Nelson’s speciality, with steaks never failing to please guests. The restaurant chef is more than happy to cater for individual requests and will always make time to ensure that everything is just right. Products are sourced from nearby businesses to support the local economy. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meal options are also available.
