Situated right at the heart of Bargoed town centre’s Hanbury Square, with a view of the fantastic Miners’ Heads statue, The Square Cafe (also known as Ricci’s Cafe) is a family-run Italian cafe and the oldest in the Rhymney Valley.

Run by the Ricci family, The Square Cafe serves everything from gourmet coffee and homemade award-winning Italian ice cream to homemade pastries and meals, making it the perfect place to stop off at for a bite to eat while exploring the local area!
