Death on Demand Murder Mysteries is an award-winning immersive entertainment company based in Caerphilly County Borough, providing professionally acted Murder Mystery experiences for private groups, businesses, hotels, restaurants and venues across Wales and throughout the UK.
Death on Demand’s Traditional Murder Mysteries bring a cast of professional actors directly to the chosen venue, where guests become the detectives. Working in teams, they question suspects, uncover clues, compare theories and attempt to solve the mystery before the final reveal. Unlike Murder Mysteries where guests are allocated characters to play, all of the acting is performed by Death on Demand’s professional cast, allowing guests to concentrate on enjoying the investigation.
Death on Demand also offer Compact Murder Mysteries for private groups of up to 10 people, immersive Murder Mystery Weekends and a Traitors-style weekend experience, Trust No One. Experiences are available for private celebrations, corporate team building, staff events, client entertainment and public events hosted by hotels and other venues.
Founded and run by Artistic Director Clare Cluer, Death on Demand has grown to deliver more than 100 events each year, supported by a large team of professional freelance actors. Death on Demand are particularly proud to be based in the Caerphilly area while taking their experiences to audiences across Wales and further afield.
Death on Demand was named Best Mystery Event Company UK at the SME Business Elite Awards 2024, was a finalist in the Creative category of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in both 2023 and 2024, was recognised in the Zokit Top 100 Businesses 2025, and received Highly Commended – Wedding & Events at the Business Growth Awards South & Mid Wales 2026. Death on Demand has also previously worked as an official supplier to Cadw.
Experiences are available throughout the year by advance booking. As Death on Demand bring the entertainment to their clients and partner venues, they do not operate fixed public opening hours. Publicly bookable events at partner venues are advertised separately throughout the year.
