Murray’s
Bargoed welcomes bar and restaurant Murray’s to Upper High Street, with their tasty dishes and delicious cocktails. Murray’s is a family run pub, owned by Husband and Wife, Peter & Marilyn Banwell – with a team of 11 members of staff from the County Borough.
Having opened in March 2020, Murrays’ newly refurbished bar and restaurant was unable to open and welcome the local community due to the imminent lockdown. They were determined to power on through and further renovated the second floor – having now opened a large function room that is perfect for Weddings, Christenings & Conferences.
Murray’s opens from 10am, offering an incredible brunch menu that includes a Welsh breakfast and pancakes. The restaurant also offers weekly specials, such as Thursday Grill Night, Sunday Lunch and Live music on Friday & Saturday evenings.
