Urdd Eisteddfod Welcome Festival

Come and celebrate that the 2027 National Urdd Eisteddfod is coming to Gwent!

The Urdd Welcome Festival is in Newport on September 26th! This is a festival to celebrate that the Urdd Eisteddfod is coming to Newport in May 2027.

There will be a parade starting from John Frost Square at 11am and finishing near the Riverfront Theatre, where there will be a jamboree and various performances near the Wave. All schools from accross Gwent have been invited to the parade!

• Parade to start at 11am at John Frost Square (meet at 10:30am).
• Parade to finish at the Steel Wave where there will be performances by Mei Gwynedd and Jambori Martyn Geraint.
